About
PlayPrices is a price-comparison site for digital PC games. We help buyers worldwide see what live stores actually charge — not a made-up catalogue.
We compare listed prices for PC games and DLC. Rankings use the amount the store shows. Store type (official store, authorized reseller, marketplace, keyshop) is a trust label next to the price, not a sort key. Cheapest means cheapest. When two stores list the same price, Steam is shown first.
We never invent prices, ratings or exchange rates. If a store is not live, it appears in the directory as planned. It does not get a dummy price.
Live price sources today are Steam, GOG, Epic Games Store, Gamesplanet US, Gamesplanet UK, Gamesplanet DE, Gamesplanet FR, IndieGala, Microsoft Store, Kinguin, G2A, Gamivo, Driffle and Loaded. Home, deals, search and game pages rank in the selected quote — EUR, USD or GBP (default EUR). A stored amount in another currency is converted with the ECB daily rate. More stores join the comparison as a real feed is connected — not before.
Search finds any live-store title. Opening a game stores that product, then we look up the same title at other live stores.
Listed price first. Discounts are measured against the same store's own list price. A price is only called a historical low after 90 days of recorded observations; until then we say “lowest since tracking”.
Some store links may earn PlayPrices a commission when you buy, at no extra cost to you. Affiliate relationships never change the ranking.
